THE EXOSPHERE

La layers or exosphere exosphere [1] is the layer of the atmosphere in which gases disperse gradually until the composition is similar to that of interplanetary space. It is the last layer of the atmosphere, is located above the thermosphere, approximately 600 km of altitude, in contact with outer space, where there is virtually empty. It is the most distant atmospheric region of the earth's surface. In this layer the temperature does not change and the air loses its physicochemical properties (interplanetary space, outside the Earth's atmosphere.) Astronaut espacio.Su ongoing work in the lower limit is usually located at an altitude of between 600 and 700 km, approximately. His edge of space comes at a mean of 10,000 km and so the exosphere is contained in the magnetosphere (500-60.000 km), representing the Earth's magnetic field. In this region, a high content of cosmic dust that falls to Earth and which increases their weight in about 20,000 tons. It is the transit zone between Earth's atmosphere and interplanetary space and in it you can find polar orbiting meteorological satellites. In the exosphere, the 'folk concept' of temperature disappears, since the density of air is almost negligible; also contains a call flow or plasma, which is the one from the outside is seen as the "Van Allen Belts" . Here is the only place where the gases can escape because gravity is so strong. Besides here are artificial satellites. Material consists of plasma. Here the ionization of the molecules determines the attraction of the Earth's magnetic field is greater than the gravitational (hence is also called magnetosphere). Therefore, the molecules of lighter gases have an average speed that allows them to escape into interplanetary space without the Earth's gravitational force is sufficient to retain them.
